Left to live another lie.

Sent to sing a song of joy.
Age-
Is but a plot-
Seeking things we never thought.
-Under Pressure-
Life-
Comes at a cost-
Holding on to what's been lost.
Pride-
Comes at a price-
Petty penance won't suffice.
Love-
Comes at a toll-
Solace from a weary soul.

I am under pressure.
These dreary days of growing up-
Have been darkened by passing clouds.
It seems that I am soon to be thrown-
Out of the Colder Weather-
And into the Storm.

Starfire flew to the roof, a pink backpack clutched at hand. She sighed sadly as she took one final glance at the door from which she appeared from. Robin didn't want her. She was a nuisance. Even the other Titans were annoyed of her. She felt unwanted as of lately. So she decided to leave and perhaps hope for the best.
She looked at the moon, sighed, and levitated off the ground. She took off to the city, searching for a new place to stay, then suddenly a thought struck her. She might be found easily... maybe it's better off if she went somewhere else. Perhaps a place where her friends do not know.

I curled up deeper under the covers. The air was cold and it was just past Christmas. Christmas, it is when it started. Only that was a lie. I have had a soft spot for Garfield from the beginning. I guess you could just say that that one Christmas years ago was when we were actually given an excuse to act on our emotions. I looked up and saw Garfield's sparkling eyes gazing down at me.
"Hey beautiful" He said.
I felt myself blush. Even after years of waking up to his compliments they still got to me in a big way. I always turned some shade of pink or red.

Beastboy sat in the background. Every time he got the courage to tell Raven how he felt, she came back with another guy. Each one breaking her heart. He would sit there and let her cry in his shoulder. She didn't even notice, none the less care, that he was in love with her.

Yeah, growing up is evil >...< Feels like you're thrown in the deep water when you just can't swim. This poem's really great, hits in your heart. Well, it hit my heart, but let's skip that fact XD
